AI Roleplay — the neural network runs a world, not just a chat
You've probably tried talking to an AI character before. It's fun until the character starts forgetting who they are and agrees with everything you say. In LitRPG, the AI is a game master who runs an entire world with rules, inhabitants, a map, and consequences for your actions.
How playing with an AI game master differs from chatting with a character
Services like Character AI or Janitor AI let you talk to a single character. That's a good format for conversation, but not for a game. Such a companion has no world around them, no rules, no other people. If you say "I found a dragon sword," they'll probably believe you.
LitRPG works differently. We're not a copy of those services and we don't promise the same thing — this is a roleplaying game. Around your hero is a shared world where other players live. The game master knows what's in your bag, how much gold you have, what level you are, and who you argued with yesterday. They won't let you get a sword out of thin air, and a successful lie to the guards will require a dice roll.
- Rules and System — stats, levels, experience, gold, items with rarity and bonuses.
- Memory — NPCs remember your hero, relationships grow or sour.
- A world with a map — villages, a city, roads, caves, ruins, an island, and the Mist beyond its edge.
- Other players — you can see them, talk to them, and play together.
What the neural network can do in this roleplay
The game master speaks for all inhabitants — the innkeeper has their own voice, the elder has their own concerns, the fortune teller has their own tarot cards. You write an action or a line — the AI describes the scene and responds as the NPCs. If the scene is important, the AI generates an image of the place or character, and for some moments creates a short video.
The appearance of your hero and NPCs stays consistent. Each has an "appearance passport," so in every image the hero remains themselves. Separate assistants keep track of facts — so the game master doesn't mix up who is where and doesn't hand out rewards that don't exist.
NPC lines can be voiced, and your own moves can be dictated. This is convenient on a phone.
Why playing with AI is interesting, not boring
The main thing is that the world has a story. There are authored tales with secrets that unfold gradually, and events for all players — raids, tournaments, new lands. There are goals — a house, your own castle, squads of fighters, the King's Tournament, a journey to the mainland.
At the same time, the story isn't forced. You can follow quests, or simply live in the world — trade, court someone, build, argue with neighbors. The AI adapts to any style but won't break the rules.
AI roleplay for adults
The game is designed for adults, 18+, and all characters are adults. Romance and relationships with NPCs are possible, including marriage. The level of explicitness in scenes is chosen by the player in the settings, and by default scenes remain restrained.
How to start
Open the game in your browser, create a hero, and write your first action. Registration is only needed to save your hero across devices. If you want to come up with a character first, try the free character sheet generator — it also runs on AI. And if roleplaying is new to you, read how text roleplay works.
Questions and answers
Is this a Character AI alternative?
No, it's a different format. In Character AI you talk to a single character, while here you play a roleplaying game with rules, a world, and other players. The game master is an AI.
What language does the neural network respond in?
English. The Russian version of the game is at litrpg.konsilito.ru.
Does the AI remember what happened before?
Yes. The game master knows your hero's history, their items, and relationships with NPCs, and important events are saved in your hero's chronicle.
Is playing with AI free?
You can start for free. For long-term play, a System subscription is needed; images and videos are paid for with tokens.
