LitRPG › Find Roleplay Partners
Your Search for Roleplay Partners Is Over — Your Co-Roleplayer Is Already Here and Responds Instantly
Sound familiar? You post 'looking for a co-roleplayer,' wait, agree on a setting, and a week later your partner vanishes. In LitRPG you don't need to search. The scene GM responds at any time, and other players live nearby in the shared fantasy world — you can meet them, message them, and go on adventures as a party.
Why the Search for a Co-Roleplayer Often Ends in Nothing
In roleplay communities on Discord, Reddit, and forums, there are hundreds of ads every day — 'looking for a co-roleplayer for fantasy,' 'need a GM,' 'recruiting for an RP chat.' The problem isn't the people. It's that collaborative roleplay requires two people to simultaneously match in time, genre, writing style, and desire to continue. If one person leaves or gets tired, the story stalls.
Roleplay conferences and chats only partially solve this. There are many people, but only one GM, and they can't run everyone at once. Posts get buried in the feed, and it's hard for a newcomer to join a story that's been going on for a month.
How LitRPG Solves This
- The GM is always there. It's run by an AI that knows the world's rules, inhabitants, and your character's history. Response in seconds, even at 3 AM.
- Shared world. All players live on the same island. You can see who's in the same location and talk to them right in the scene.
- DMs and parties. You can message any character, invite them to a party, propose a deal, or a consensual duel.
- Your own pace. Play for an hour straight or one post a day. The world doesn't wait for you and doesn't forget.
How It's Like an RP Chat and How It's Not
Like in a good chat, there's a setting, rules, a GM, and other players. There's a shared canon — the island, villages, the city of Velhaven, the King's Road, and the lands beyond the Mist. There are events that affect everyone — raids, tournaments, new places written about in the World Chronicle.
The difference is that you don't need an application for approval, you don't wait for recruitment, and you don't adjust to someone else's schedule. Create a character and you're in the world. You can still write a character sheet for yourself, for example in our character sheet generator.
Roleplay on Discord, Reddit, or Forums — Why a Browser?
Messengers are convenient for chatting, but they lack a map, inventory, location images, or dice rolls. In the browser, all that exists — an island map with characters, a bag with items, a character sheet, NPC portraits, location videos, and sound. Yet playing is as easy as chatting — on your phone, with a large input field and voice typing.
You can drop a link to the game in your Discord server and invite friends. For invited friends who start playing, the System gifts subscription days.
Who You'll Meet Here
Inhabitants of the world — innkeepers, elders, merchants, priests, guards, fortune-tellers, wandering bards. Each with their own personality and memory; you can befriend or quarrel with them. There are also dangerous foes — bandits, monsters, sorcerers.
And, of course, other heroes. Some trade, some build a house, some prepare for the King's Tournament. Whether to interact with them is up to you.
Questions and answers
Do I need a live co-roleplayer to play?
No. The scene is run by an AI GM, who always responds. Live players are a nice bonus.
How do I find other players in LitRPG?
In the 'Heroes of the World' menu, there's a list of heroes with search. You can approach a hero on the map, send a DM, or invite them to a party.
Can I play with a friend?
Yes. Create two characters, meet in the same location, and team up in a party.
Do you have a Discord server or forum?
The game itself is on the website, and world news is published in the Chronicle. You can set up a chat for your party anywhere.
