Text RPGs and quests used to be a choice of numbered options. Here there are no options — you write your move in your own words, and the AI Game Master decides what happens according to the System's rules. This is LitRPG, like in books — levels, stats, System messages, and a shared world with other players. All in your browser, no downloads.
What is LitRPG and what does text have to do with it
LitRPG is a book genre where the hero finds themselves in a world with game rules. They see their stats, gain levels, receive System messages and loot. We turned this into a game. You are that hero, and the book about them is written based on your playthrough. At the end, you can get it in fb2, epub, or pdf with a cover.
Why a text RPG is better than a regular one
- Freedom. There's no list of actions — you can do anything that makes sense for the world.
- Living NPCs. They respond like people, remember the hero, and can get offended.
- Nothing to install. Works in your phone and computer browser.
- Voice input. You can dictate your move.
- Images and videos. Places, NPCs, and important scenes are drawn and come to life.
Mechanics
The hero has six stats, health, gold, a bag, and equipment slots. Items can be common or rare, each with its own bonuses. Experience is given for battles, quests, and discoveries. Quests are selected by level, and their objectives are visible on the map.
Battles are turn-based. Against one enemy — a duel with techniques and escape, against many — a tactical field where your squads fight by initiative and morale. There's a Royal Tournament with prizes, a Blood Pit for hero duels, raids, and ambushes on the road.
There's an economy — traders, a bank, a hero market, real estate from a room to a palace with a mortgage, salaries for fighters, and taxes from lands.
Text MMORPG — a shared world for everyone
All players live in the same world. A place discovered by one hero appears for everyone. On the map, you can see where other players, convoys, caravans, and wanderers are. You can talk to heroes, trade, team up in squads, and compete in the arena. Important events are written in the World Chronicle.
How to start playing
Click 'Play', create a hero — name, race, class, appearance — and make your first move. The System gives a newcomer starting gold, and the first quest appears almost immediately. Questions and answers
Do I need to download anything?
No. The game works in your browser on phone, tablet, and computer.
Is this a text quest with answer options?
No. You write your action freely, and move hints are only for those who don't know where to start.
Are there other players?
Yes. The world is shared, players can see each other and play together.
How much does it cost?
Start for free. After that — a System subscription for a week, month, or year.
