King Edric III has set out for the Royal Tournament
The king has departed from Altenkron for the tournament's opening. The road is long — over five hours across the Bridge of Seven Arches and along the Royal Highway to Velhaven. For safety the king's guard has been doubled, mounted patrols have been sent ahead, and royal patrols march the highway. The king will spend the night in Velhaven, and by noon tomorrow he will ascend to the arena's stand. While the retinue travels the road, the places along its path are guarded as after a patrol, and it is calmer to spend the night there. The king and his retinue can be seen on the map with the 🤴 icon — you can ride out to meet him.
