Which dice are available
The dice are honestly random — they use the browser's cryptographic generator rather than a simple pseudo-random one.
- d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100.
- Several dice at once — up to 20, for example 3d6 or 8d6 for a fireball.
- A modifier from −20 to +20.
- d20 with advantage and with disadvantage.
- A history of recent rolls.
How to use DnD dice
A skill check or an attack is usually d20 plus an ability modifier against a difficulty. Damage depends on the weapon — a dagger is d4, a longsword d8, a greatsword d12. With advantage, roll two d20 and take the higher; with disadvantage, the lower.
Play where the game master rolls the dice
In LitRPG the server rolls the dice and the AI game master describes what happened. You write an action, the server rolls d20 with your modifier, and the outcome cannot be replayed.
