Every class has its own beasts — buy at the market or find in a quest
Pets are no longer only for the Ranger. Every class has its own beasts. The Warrior is served by a war dog, a hound, and a boar; the Mage by an owl, a raven, and a bat; the Rogue by a black cat, a raven, and a snake; the Priest by a temple dog and a white wolf. In markets and cities, a trapper brings new beasts for your class every day; sometimes a rare one turns up among them. The strongest are not sold anywhere. A bear cub, a falcon, a fire salamander, a shadow fox, and a moon doe join the hero on their own while he completes quests. Beasts have their own temperaments. Some take hits better, others strike past armor, drink the enemy's blood, or weaken him. Any hero can now build a home menagerie and keep up to five beasts in it.
go to the Grand Market of Velhaven and open "Character sheet". There the trapper will show the beasts for your class.
