In Velhaven the "Golden Scales" bank has opened, and convoys, caravans and bards have taken to the roads

On Moneychangers' Street, east of Cathedral Square in Velhaven, the "Golden Scales" bank has opened. Guild banker Matilda Zlatover accepts gold and valuables for safekeeping (from 5 gold, except worn items and house deeds) — neither robbers at an overnight stop nor death can reach the vault. Storage is paid — for every day, 0.5% of the gold in the account and 1% of the value of each item, no less than 1 gold. The fee is deducted once a day from the account; if there isn't enough, from the wallet; the remainder becomes debt, and while it exists, items are not released from storage. And the map has come alive — wandering bards, a storyteller, a pilgrim and a peddler move across it (a new stop every 12 hours), and every day a guild merchant convoy and a caravan from the east travel it. At each stop, they have a task for heroes — protect a convoy that has been attacked, or track down a monster from a bard's song, for whose head the burgomaster or village elder pays a reward.
open "Bank" in the hero menu — there you can see the daily fee before each transaction; and the icons 🪕🐂🐫 ❗ on the map show where wanderers are now and who has a task.
