King Edric III has set out for the Royal Tournament
The king has ridden out from Altenkron for the tournament's opening. The journey is no short one — more than five hours across the Bridge of Seven Arches and along the King's Highway to Velhaven. For safety, the king's guard has been doubled, mounted outriders have been sent ahead, and royal patrols are moving along the highway. The king will spend the night in Velhaven, and tomorrow by noon he will take his place on the arena tribune. While the retinue travels along the road, the places along its route are guarded as after a patrol, and it is calmer to spend the night there. The king and his retinue can be seen on the map with the 🤴 icon — you can go out to meet him.
